My curated collection of tools, techniques, frameworks, resources, software, prompts, and practices that I can reach for when I need help doing something.
It is organised around use rather than description:
I am experiencing this situation → I have something for that.
Tools might help me think, explore, understand, organise, decide, communicate, create, learn, regulate, or act.
TOOLBOX ENTRY
- Name:
- What it does: A one-line description of the tool’s useful function.
- When I reach for it: The situation, problem, feeling, or trigger that would make me think of this tool.
- Source/origin: Optional link or source.
When adding a tool
Keep entries short and retrieval-focused.
Do not provide a comprehensive explanation of the tool. Capture enough information that I can recognise why I saved it and when it might be useful again.
Write the trigger in practical, recognisable language where possible.
For example:
Atlas of Emotions
- What it does: Helps identify and explore emotions, their triggers, and responses.
- When I reach for it: When I have a strong emotional reaction and want to understand what I am feeling and what may have triggered it.
The goal is not to collect tools.
The goal is to make useful tools easy to find when the situation that calls for them appears.
